The Youth Adventure Trust uses outdoor adventure to empower young people from Swindon and Wiltshire to fulfill their potential and lead positive lives in the future. They work with them to build resilience, develop confidence and learn skills that will last a lifetime. Helping them to face the challenges in their lives.
Our 3 school year programme combines consistent mentoring, guidance and support with outdoor adventure activities. Here they can unlock their true potential and exceed their own expectations. Our Youth Adventure Programme includes three residential camps (Mountain, Coastal and Forest), one Explore Day, three Activity Days and four Pathway Days, over a period of three academic years. All the activities on the programme are designed to challenge young people to reach personal goals, build confidence and self-esteem. Whilst also developing their resilience and aspiration. Since 1992 we have supported over 4,000 vulnerable young people to broaden their horizons so that they can look forward to a positive future
