The Sandwich People

The Sandwich People are passionate about food! They create quality food, made from fresh ingredients everyday. Whilst providing a reliable service to their customers, who can count on value for money. As a Social Enterprise, they also create opportunities for people who have experienced homelessness. This enables them to turn their lives around, recognise their full potential, learn and develop enabling them to transform their own lives.

Buffet catering for all occasions, whilst offering training and development opportunities to our residents and volunteers.

We are not for profit service, here to support those experiencing homelessness. We use local fresh products. Our bread is baked daily by our local bakery. We use local free range eggs and make our sandwich fillings in-house daily.

Our team of volunteers have experienced homelessness and are ready to support others to turn their lives around. The Sandwich People provides the opportunity to get involved in running a small business and gain valuable work experience in a safe environment. Creating new social networks and shared targets for the future, we develop a purpose in which we can work together to achieve an exciting and sustainable future for the business and the individual. Our team all undertake professionally accredited training in food handling and have the opportunity to develop further skills in customer service, health and safety, first aid and other exciting prospects. Due to this commitment to training, we are proud to hold our Environmental Health 5 Stars.

The children’s hamper is great value, easy to order and the staff are really good. We got to try some new cupcakes – delicious. Would recommend!
