The Open Door Centre.
The Open Door Centre is a day resource for adults with learning disabilities, providing activities within a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment. Members are encouraged to be independent and understand their rights and choices, to become respected, confident, and valued members of society.
Our members have monthly meetings to decide the day-to-day running of the centre. Members are elected by their peers to represent their points of view on the management committee.
We are always open to new members and do not operate a waiting list or referral system. We are also open to take on new volunteers. Please do get in contact with the Centre if you have any questions.
