Our Mission
We support the work of the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) in delivering exceptional care to South West communities, our staff and volunteers.
Our Vision
To inspire supporters to make a life-saving difference to the work of the South Western Ambulance Service.
Our Values
Provide enhanced funding to make the difference to the communities we serve and our people.
Supporting our volunteer heroes
Community First Responders (CFRs) operate within the communities in which they live or work, often providing early lifesaving emergency aid ahead of ambulance arrival. They are trained and governed by the South Western Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust.
As an NHS charity, we play a key role in helping the NHS to go further for staff, volunteers and patients.

Attending over 20,000 incidents each year, their contribution really does save lives, reduce pain and provide reassurance to those requiring emergency care.
Every donation, large or small, is important and appreciated, helping to provide enhanced equipment, cars, training and other costs.
With your support, funding would be used to purchase medical equipment for the Community First responder volunteers in Swindon, which will enable them to provide enhanced patient assessment and care to the community of Swindon and local surrounding areas.

Community First Responder volunteers provide critical support, predominantly within remote/rural locations, including Swindon.
Their contribution really does save lives, reduce pain and provide reassurance to those requiring emergency care.
