The Olive Tree Café is a busy community café based in The Manor Garden Centre. We take pride in our lovely space and garden, and our menu of legendary breakfasts, and good café dishes, freshly made cakes and scones, including our quality PURO coffee. Above all we are proud of our amazing staff and volunteers. We work together to create a good customer experience, and a support system for each other, and a place to feel part of. This includes accredited training and day to day learning and teaching. We hope that by being here we join the national voice to reduce stigma around mental illness every day, in every cup of coffee and chat.
We are part of The Recovery Tree Charity – a mental health charity supporting the work of The Olive Tree Café and TWIGS.

In the café I have learnt how to use the till and make drinks. This has helped me to gain a lot of skills and my confidence has got better.
It’s made me feel more confident with people, I have learnt many new skills and given me wonderful experience.
I am going to miss all the staff and my regular customers as I have made many friends.
I really like the café and I do find it helpful because it gets me used to working and eventually it will take me to some part time or permanent employment.
