Julia’s House children’s hospice provides free respite care for seriously ill children and their families across Wiltshire. We are a lifeline, caring from Swindon to Salisbury.

Caring in the heart of your community, our nurses and carers provide clinical, emotional and practical support for local people. Whenever and wherever it is needed. In the family home, at our hospice in Devizes or by the hospital bedside.

Our services are for the whole family, not just the sick child. We provide emotional support and social opportunities for parents, grandparents and siblings. We also offer respite, emergency, end-of-life and bereavement care. Every hour of care our nurses and carers provide helps local families to feel less isolated. It also relieves the ongoing pressure of caring for a child with complex needs.

This bespoke and regular clinical care is provided completely free of charge. In Wiltshire, this is entirely funded by our amazing supporters because we don’t get any government funding.

We can’t change a devastating diagnosis. But we can give families the chance to make positive and lasting memories to help them get through moments of despair. We help make the short time they have together with the best that it can be.

We want to be there to care for every seriously ill child and family that needs us in Wiltshire.
But we can only do that with your support.

Your donation will help to provide care, support for a local family devastated by the news their child has a life-limiting or life-threatening condition.

Our business club is packed with like-minded professional people. They all want to help their local children’s hospice.

We are proud to help our charities so they can support our community. By helping them to reach and engage with more local people, they can promote their services to those that need it and gain new support.
